All in Link Roundup

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! It is my last day in the office and Monday I'm headed to Tulum! I really need the break from a busy and hectic time at work and I hope that I come back relaxed and refreshed from this little getaway. Immediately upon my return, I've got a silks show to perform in (that night) and then I launch into a new session of silks the following week plus a private lesson for an act I'm creating in my head that involves more than one apparatus and a lot of creativity and learning on my part. And then I am really looking forward to making plans for the rest of my trips this year: Banff, Chile/Argentina, and Kilimanjaro. On to the links!

Well, this is depressing.

THIS, best albums of 1998. Nostalgia, being 17 again. :) Okay, the ones that resonated with me 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 20, 25, 28

Most romantic trips around the world - these are good choices for anyone, you don't have to have a significant other! Side note on that, I have several friends who are saving destinations for their own honeymoons one day. That's great and all, but what if that never happens? I mean, what if? We all want someone to love and to be with but if a destination is very appealing to you, just go. Don't wait around for someone. You can always go back.

"I married someone I met on vacation." This link has quite a few stories on that theme, but the first one made me cry. It was intense. And now, no more love themed links.

The new Noma - which I'm still sour about it closing and not reopening for my trip to Copenhagen, guess I will just have to go back!

Speaking of Copenhagen, the best bars. I've been to 5 of them. I love Copenhagen's beer scene so much! Ruby was more cocktail focused but I loved it, and it was quiet when I was there so I got to chat with the bartender about his favorite thing about living in Copenhagen (you can bike across town in 15 min) and he let me try a few different brands of aquavit. Of course Mikkeller is on there too.

How to find magic everywhere you go. I liked it. :)

That's it for now! I'll be humming the Ratatat medley of songs were performing to all weekend and visualizing the performance in my head, as well as practicing, getting ahead on an online class I'm taking, and packing for Tulum!
